Historical development of wine growing and winemaking has experienced various difficulties trough history as a result of specific geopolitical and economic turmoil. Vineyards in the Croatian region of Primorje date back to the time of the ancient Romans who recognized these areas as a fertile oasis for wine production. Among them is the Vinodol Valley, a literal translation of the Roman name “Vallis Vineari“.
Today, the winery has 40 hectares of land, of which 31 hectares of vineyards. In the heart of the vineyard, a new wine cellar and a tasting room were created, where many visitors today enjoy a glass of wine.
